Back in 2011, Candice-Marie Fox, a former model, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and she was given only 5 years of life. She underwent surgery during which 20 lumps above the left collarbone were removed. But, on her routine checkup, the cancer was still there and it had spread towards the back. This is when she decided to take the matter into her own hands.
The doctors also suggested chemotherapy, but the model did not want to expose her body to the toxins and decided to make important changes in her lifestyle. She excluded alcohol and meat from her diet and focused more on plants and also consumed 3 pineapples on a daily basis. Believe it or not, within half a year, her cancer was almost completely gone! According to Candice, it was the pineapple that was decisive in treating the cancer, as well as a lot of apples, grapefruits, kiwis, and lemons.
The Power of Pineapples
Pineapple is a fruit which contains a strong enzyme with anti-cancer properties known as bromelain. According to a research, bromelain was more effective in killing cancer cells than 5-fluoracil due to the selective toxicity factor. The latter is a drug used in chemotherapy for cancer treatment for more than 40 years. However, according to the MSDS, prolonged exposure to it can be detrimental for the organs and diminish the overall health. This is because it does not differentiate between healthy and abnormal cells and it destroys all of them; this is why cancer patients feel lethargic and tired after chemo. But, this is not the case with bromelain. In fact, this enzyme alleviates nausea, tiredness, and weight loss which are common during cancer. When taken in adequate amounts, bromelain can strengthen the body’s immunity and elevate the body’s capacity to fight off cancer.
The Cancer Was Disappearing
After 6 months, when Candice checked her thyroglobulin levels (a protein), they were reduced to 9.7 nanograms per ml. When she was first diagnosed with cancer, the levels of this protein were 13. On the following test, the result was 0.2, which is a normal level for healthy and cancer-free individuals.
Candice’s Diet Protocol
First 7 days– follow a fruit-based diet and include a lot of carrot, celery juice, and beets
For 8 between 10 days– fruit-based diet without celery juice. Include vitamin K and selenium supplements
For 11 to 14 days- plant-based diet, a lot of avocados and soaked almonds
Repeat the procedure from the beginning.
