DIY Ginger & Thyme Anti-Cough Syrup

You will need:

One ginger knuckle, minced

Fresh thyme, 2 handfuls

1 ½ cups of water

¾ cups of honey, raw and organic

Preparation:

In a pot, add the water, ginger, and thyme. Bring it to medium heat and cook it. Once it begins to boil, simmer for 10 more minutes. Then, add the honey and stir gently.

Remove from heat and leave the syrup to rest for half an hour to one hour. Afterwards, strain it into jars and keep them in the fridge.

If you prefer to, you can add the honey after the syrup cools down if you do not want to heat it up.

How to use it:

For adults, 3 to 5 tbsp per day

For children, 3 to 5 tbsp per day
