3 DIY Anti-Cancer Soup Recipes

  • Onion and apple soup

You will need:

2 pounds of yellow onions, sliced

A tbsp of extra virgin olive oil

A tbsp of organic butter, salt-free

4 apples

2 ½ cups of apple cider vinegar

A quart of veggie broth

2 garlic cloves, crushed

½ cup of cashew cream

Salt and white pepper

Preparation:

In a stock pot, melt the oil and butter on medium heat. Then, add the onions. Sauté them until they become golden. Stir occasionally and then lower the heat to medium. When the onions are done, cook for 3 minutes.

Put the apple cider vinegar to deglaze the pan. Increase the heat and bring it to boil. Cook until the ACV lowers, that is, around 5 minutes. Now, add the garlic and the broth and boil them. Reduce the heat to low.

Cover the pot and simmer for half an hour. Add the cream and simmer for 10 more minutes. For a smoother texture, blend the soup. Add the desired amount of salt and pepper. Serve warm.

  • Carrot and beet soup

You will need:

A pound of beets

A tbsp of olive oil

A cup of chopped onion

A pound of carrots, chopped

A tbsp of ginger, minced

A garlic clove, minced

6 cups of veggie stock

A tsp of orange rind, grated

¾ tsp of salt

Black pepper

Preparation:

Peel the beets under running water and then cut them into bigger chunks. Then, heat the oil in a stock pot over medium heat. Sauté the onions until they become golden and then add the garlic, ginger, and carrots.

Cook and stir for 5 minutes. Then, add the stock and beets. When the mixture starts to boil, cover it and leave it to simmer for 50 minutes. Then, remove it from heat and add the orange rind. Mix well and puree the soup in a blender. Add seasonings. Serve while warm.

  • Grandma’s chicken soup

You will need:

A whole chicken cut into chunks

8 cups of water

A tbsp of salt

3 onions, sliced

2 stalks of celery, sliced

4 cloves of garlic, mashed

6 carrots, sliced

Preparation:

Put the water, chicken, and salt in a stockpot. Add the celery, garlic, and onions. Lower the heat and remove any foam. Simmer for 30 minutes. Remove the breast and slice it into thin strips. Leave it aside.

Put the carrots and simmer for 40 minutes. Remove the chicken and leave it to cool down a bit. Then, eliminate the meat from the bones. Chop it into bite-size pieces. Add the wanted amount of chicken. Keep the remaining amount for other recipes. Remove fat and add seasonings. Serve while warm.
