How to Make Your Own Coconut Kefir
You will need:
5 tbsp of kefir grains
7 cups of coconut water
1 organic Ceylon cinnamon stick
A jar from half a gallon
A container
Preparation: Pour the coconut water into the jar and add the kefir grains. Close the jar loosely and leave it for 48 hours to ferment. When the fermentation is done, the mixture will be lighter in color and the kefir grains will be on the top. Remove them and store them if you need them for a next batch. Then, strain the liquid into another clean container. This is your coconut water kefir. Store it in the fridge.
