The Recipe

You will need:

Juice from ½ a lemon

A tsp of ginger root or ½ tsp of ginger powder

A tsp of grated turmeric or ½ tsp of turmeric powder

A dash of black pepper

1 ½ cup of purified water

2 tsp of honey (optional)

Preparation: Bring a saucepan with the water over medium-high heat and then add the turmeric and ginger. Simmer the ingredients for 5 to 10 minutes. Before the mixture reaches a boiling point, remove it from the stove and strain it into a tea mug. Next, add the lemon juice and honey.

Use: Drink the mixture after waking up in the morning, prior to breakfast.
