First, as shown on the image below, use the second and third finger to gently apply pressure on the area between the eyebrows. While doing this, make sure you also push the tongue against the roof of the mouth.

Hold the position for 20 seconds. When you loosen the fingers and tongue, you will feel that there is some movement going on in the back of the throat. This is a sign that the accumulated mucus is softening.

Another Useful Method for Clogged Sinuses

To encourage the movement of clogged mucus, massage the top of the eyebrows using your fingertips. Move from the center towards the outside of the brows. Repeat the massage several times and then lean forward. Rest your head on the elbows. In a couple of seconds, you will feel a change in pressure.
