- Deodorant for sensitive skin
You will need:
2 tbsp of shea butter
2 tbsp of coconut oil
2 tsp of beeswax
A tsp of baking soda
4 tsp of potato starch or tapioca
50 drops of frankincense essential oil
Preparation: Put the butter, beeswax, and coconut oil in a measuring cup. Then, fill one pot partially with water and put the cup into it to make a double boiler. Bring it on medium heat and simmer until the beeswax melts entirely. Next, remove it from heat and add the starch and baking soda. At the end, add the essential oil. Divide the content into two 2-ounce tins and wait for it to harden a bit before usage. You can keep it in these tins for up to 12 months in a cool and dry area. You can easily apply it onto the armpits with the fingertips.
- Deodorant against stronger body odor
You will need:
3 tbsp of baking soda
5 tbsp of cornstarch
6 tbsp of shea butter
30 drops of some essential oils
Preparation: In a bigger mixing bowl, add the cornstarch, baking soda, and butter and combine them with your hands. Add the essential oils and with a hand mixer, whip everything together. Once you get a creamy consistency, add it in a 4-ounce jar. Keep the deodorant in a cool and dry place and apply it onto the underarms using the fingertips.
- DIY deodorant for normal skin
You will need:
½ cup of coconut oil
½ cup of baking soda
40 drops of essential oils, pick your favorites
Preparation: In a bowl, add the coconut oil and the baking soda. Mix them together before adding the chosen essential oils. Combine everything together and transfer the homogeneous content into a glass jar. Apply it into the skin using the fingertips.
