The Nara Park is one of the oldest public gardens in Japan and the home to more than 1200 wild sika deer that roam freely through the 502 hectares.
These gentle and beautiful creatures usually share this park with numerous tourists; however, after the lockdowns because of the pandemic, the deer have been relaxing and enjoying the silent and alone time.
Visitors are now allowed; but have to maintain social distancing. One Japanese photographer, Ikeda, recently went there to take a pre-wedding photoshoot. These stunning animals were part of it.
He had to make a video of them as well!
The video seems like it came out right out of the fairytales. The couple was more than satisfied with their unique photos with stunning cherry blossoms and cute deer.
Sika Deer Peacefully Enjoying in Japan Nara Park
Seeing the Nara Park is a unique experience throughout the whole year, but it’s definitely a must during the cherry blossom season.
The now-viral video of the deer shows them resting beneath these blossom trees and grazing on the ground.
Ikeda hopes that this video will motivate people to come and visit this amazing park once the restrictions are reduced. He believes that the pandemic is tiring people all over the world and he’s hopeful that this video will help them feel better.
We’re definitely in need of positive news in these hard times we’re living in. Although physical travelling may be delayed for some time, we can watch these stunning videos and travel through them.
The Internet Is in Love with the Deer from the Nara Park
People who saw the video are full of positive comments- one person said he was blessed to see these stunning deer at this park in the 90s and he recalls how the locals were having the best time with picnics in the parks.
Another one highly recommended a trip to the park as it’s one of the most beautiful and calming places according to him.
Indeed, there’s a majestic energy flowing around this park, don’t you agree? Would you visit it if you could?
