Succulents generally need little watering, a moderate temperature, and various sunlight levels.
Thanks to their adaptability, they’re not too sensitive. When talking about succulents, we can’t forget about the opal succulent- it resembles an illuminating gem.
One of the most Stunning Succulents- the Haworthia cooperi
Also known as the opal succulent, this lovely little plant is native to South Africa, but thanks to the online world, they can be delivered at your doorstep in other parts of the world too.
No need to worry if you’re nowhere near the Southern Hemisphere- Amazon and eBay are here for you, as well as many other sellers of seed plants.
The Haworthia cooperi has unique bulb-like fleshy leaves and a thin skin with light veins. Most often, it’s a blue green combo; however, it can turn red if it’s too exposed to the sun or severe drought.
The leaves are translucent in order to allow sunlight to light up the interior of the leaves. This makes the plant look like it’s a juicy bubble.
It’s a plant which can withstand low light common for indoor spaces. It’s easy to grow and rarely affected by pests and diseases.
It’s strong and its roots love a great drainage system and sporadic watering. Choose deep pots with good drainage holes and a draining soil which is 50 percent mineral grit.
When you water it, do it deeply enough in order for the water to run out of the holes on the bottom. Before watering it again, wait for the soil to dry entirely.
