Iceland is a famous tourist destination for its beautiful and relaxing lagoons. Soon, tourists will be able to enjoy their springs while gazing into the stunning ocean views.
This lagoon is set to open in the 2021 spring by the hospitality company Pursuit.
Their plans are to expand their collection of one-of-a-kind travel experience with a geothermal lagoon that’s in front of an ocean.
This Sky Lagoon is located in Karsnes, Harbour, Kopavogus, only a couple of minutes from Reykjavik.
It will give visitors the opportunity to relax and restore, but also to gaze into the Atlantic Ocean and experience amazing sunsets and views of the dark sky and Northern Lights.
One of the Most Amazing Lagoons in the World
The general manager of Sky Lagoon said that they’re thrilled to reveal the plans for this geothermal lagoon experience that will be built in one of the most impressive oceanfront locations in Iceland.
It’s a lagoon designed with the stunning landscape of Iceland in mind and it has a 70-meter infinity edge which is a great blend with the ocean landscape.
Other elements are inspired by the traditional tuff houses in Iceland. The updated, but traditional design is only one feature-the Sky Lagoon will also offer a sauna, cold pool, dining, shopping, and in-lagoon bar.
Anyone who’s currently travelling to Iceland has to do a coronavirus test and go into 14-day quarantine or show a clean health bill to be able to travel in the country.
