Apparently, all it takes is a simple look at your wrist to connect with a stranger on the internet.
At least this is the case with a number of women who’ve noticed a single freckle on the middle of their wrist and it’s uniting them all.
Aaryn Whitley, a Twitter user, had a lot of people realizing they share a thing in common when she twitted 4 photos of arms of different women who had a single freckle in the same exact spot.
She wrote ‘ladies….u got a freckle on the middle of ur wrist or is this a myth lmao’.
People Started to Share Photos of their Own Wrist Freckles
After Whitley’s tweet, people, both men and women, begun sharing images of their own wrist freckle and a handful of them were ‘freaking out’ after they discovered they’re not the only ones.
Since freckles tend to darken in the summer, now is the best time to check out your wrist freckles.
Why Would so Many People Have a Freckle at the same Spot?
One of the reasons why a lot of people would have this mark could be a simple one-this is a body part that we regularly expose to the sun.
Namely, in the spring and summer and when we’re outside, we rarely cover our wrists, so the chance for freckles forming there because of sun exposure is higher.
The other reasons remain unknown for now. Definitely this is a spooky phenomenon and we guess it’s just one of the things we have to accept.
