An aspiring astronaut-to-be, she spent her lockdown building her own rocket which she finished with the help of her mom. The testing happened in their living room.

Afterwards, they took the rocket to the Launchpad in the garden from where they launched the model of the Vulcan Centaur rocket from cardboard.

NASA Say Young People Need Role Models Who Look like Them

When the rocked soared 30 feet into the air, the makers of the real rocket, the ULA and Astrobotic, contacted the girl. This is when the company decided to take her sticker to the Moon on the Peregrine lunar lander.

Recently, Elizabeth finished a five-week NASA program where she carried out a virtual tour to Mars.

The spokesperson for NASA emphasized that younger generations need role models which look like them. Elizabeth’s passion for space is stunning and they’re really proud to send her sticker to the Moon.
