This grandad is facing a huge bill for repairs due to a bunch of influencers taking selfies in front of his pink doorstep that eventually caused damage to parts of his home.
The 77-year-old Peter Lee who lives in London constantly has models and influencers coming to his pink doorstep, taking photos and videos at the unique location.
Influencers Are Coming to This Man’s Home on a Daily Basis
His iconic home is located in Kensington Place. Photos of his home are often shared on Instagram and some photos of the home have actually gathered over 47,000 likes.
Considering the popularity of the location, many influencers come and climb the stairs and sit outside of the front door in an effort to make the best possible photo that they’ll share on social media.
Some even lean over the railings and take photos and videos for their social media.
The retired fashion designer isn’t angry or upset about the influencers; however, a recent footfall damaged the railings and tiles so he’ll have to.
After this happened, Peter notes that fixing the damage may cost him hundreds of pounds. Some people advised him to put a notice outside.
He says that he often waits for the influencers to leave the doorstep so he can get out or get in. Although they’re nice and polite, occasionally, some girls just look at him and don’t move.
Many Influencers Also Camp at the Location in an Effort to Make the Perfect Shot
Since January, this man has filmed several influencers posing on the property.
He even saw models who come with tents which they use to change outfits and get the best shot outside of the colorful homes in Notting Hill.
The videos from his doorbell show the influencers dressed in colorful outfits posing. One of the models even threw her legs up in the air in an effort to make the most interesting photo for her social media followers.
Once, he had a bag full of clothes in front of the doorstep.
He realized it was probably from a photoshoot and no one came to claim it. Eventually, he gave it to his granddaughter as a present.
