Snoop Dogg Launches a YouTube Channel which Helps Kids Learn Emotional & Social Skills

You may know Snoop Dogg as a Grammy-nominated rapper or Martha Stewart’s bestie; however, toddlers of today will know him as Bow Wizzle.

Namely, the OG West Coast rapper is now present on YouTube and YouTube Kids. He launched a new animated series that will have the entire family dancing and singing in the house.

Doggyland-Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes by Snoop Dogg

The official release of Doggyland- Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes is available on both platforms. In a Tweet, Dogg shared that he’s presenting his new show for kids named @doggyland-kids intended for singing, dancing, and learning.

He also included an introductory video of the show and a presentation of the main characters.

In a press release about the series for kids, Dogg explained that he always wanted to make a child-friendly series that will allow kids to be kids and represent the Culture with everything from the music to the characters.

While forming the team, he decided to partner with Claude, the creator of Hip Hop Harry, an iconic series that built the blueprint for a diverse children’s program, as well as with October London, a talented writer, and singer.

The Goal of the Series Is to Teach Kids Valuable Life Skills, Says Snoop Dogg

The series is created for kids from toddlers to eight-year-olds. The focus is to teach them valuable emotional, cognitive, and social skills.

This family-friendly series encourages both children and their parents to learn these new skills together and spread joy and love while learning.

Bow Wizzle, voiced by the iconic rapper himself, is the leader of the colorful and vibrant characters. They were all designed to encourage diversity and inclusion in a manner that children can understand.

The parents may be nostalgic when watching and singling along to Doggyland with their kids, but their kids will be able to learn amazing skills, ranging from manners to kindness towards friends or how to be a good team player.

The rapper says of the series that as a dad and a grandpa, he’s always wanted to build a positive and educational environment for all kids.

They wanted the show to be free for everyone so that all kids can enjoy it.

Snoop Dogg Is Not New in the World of Youth Education

Although he’s most popular for his music career, Dogg also has a history of helping youth.

Back in 2005, he founded the Snoop Youth Football League. This gave kids from the inner city a chance to play youth football and cheer.

Moreover, he also founded the Snoop Special Stars. It served as the special needs part of the program.

Doggyland currently has four episodes streaming on both platforms.

New ones are released every Tuesday. The album Doggyland- Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes is available on all streaming platforms.
