How To Whiten Laundry Without Chlorine Bleach Completely Naturally

We all love our white T-shirts, white pants, and white skirts, however, after two or three washings in the machine, their whiteness is gone and they become greyish and lose their glow. So, we all wonder how to restore their whiteness and continue wearing them.

To avert this from happening, a lot of people use synthetic bleach, but, this is not the best option you can go with. The chemicals from the bleach will negatively affect the material of your clothes and decrease their quality. With this in mind, today’s article focuses on showing you how to whiten your clothes 100 percent naturally.

Whitening Laundry Naturally

Did you know that one of the safest and cheapest methods to preserve the whiteness of your laundry is with the help of one ingredient only, i.e. potassium permanganate. Let us take a look at the method in detail now:

You will need:

10 liters of water

Several potassium permanganate crystals

0.2 liters of organic laundry detergent

Nylon bag

Laundry wash basin

How to do it:

Fill the basin with the water and add the permanganate crystals. Wait for the mixture to turn pink and add the detergent. Stir the content and then soak in your white laundry in it. Cover the bowl with the nylon bag and leave it like that for 5 hours or throughout the night. In the morning, strain the laundry and wash it in the washing machine. If you are still not satisfied with the whiteness, repeat the procedure once more.

Additional Tip

Baking soda is also a great laundry whitener. Just add 2 tbsp to the washing machine prior to washing your white laundry.
