Tasty Vegan Recipe: Matar Masala with Green Peas & Mushrooms

Mushroom Mutter Masala Recipe

You will need:

2 tbsp of coconut oil

A tsp of cumin

A red onion, grated

2 cups of white button mushrooms, sliced

½ tsp of coriander

1/3 tsp of cumin

½ tsp of red cayenne pepper

½ tsp of black pepper


½ cup of green peas

Fresh cilantro

Preparation: Add the coconut in a pan and bring it to heat. Add the cumin seeds and once they start sizzling, add the onion. Cook until it turns golden and becomes soft. Now, add the mushrooms, salt, coriander, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and green peas.

Mix and cover. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove it from heat and transfer in a plate. Garnish with cilantro.
