The Healing Properties of the Ingredients

Coconut milk is a great moisturizer which will nourish and condition the scalp and hair and encourage healthy hair growth.

Baking soda helps remove dead skin cells through gentle exfoliation of the scalp and thus, minimizes the production of dead and flaky white skin cells.

Rosemary oil is known to promote hair growth and also adds a beautiful scent offering mindfulness and clarity. Since it’s anti-fungal, it helps with dandruff which is caused by fungi overgrowth.

Tea tree oil is also antifungal and also helps unclog the hair follicles and nourishes the roots. Plus, it may be beneficial for those with thinner hair- it helps thicken it up.

Fenugreek seeds are rich in protein and amino acids known to encourage healthy hair growth and to fight off dandruff. Plus, they’re rich in lecithin, a natural emollient which softens and strengthens the hair.

Castile soap is a pure and potent soap which can be used for the body, but for laundry too. It’s gentle enough for children’s skin. You can find it in health food shops or specialty shops.

Apple cider vinegar, raw one, has the power to help make the hair follicles stronger and to balance the hair pH. Plus, it possesses antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral abilities.

Since it’s anti-inflammatory too, it can help fight off inflammation and itchiness in the scalp. And, it’s also rich in vitamins B and C that are good for a healthy hair shine.
