Stunning Photo of an Eagle in a Symmetrical Reflection Caught by this Photographer

Though only an amateur photographer, Steve Biro caught the most amazing, symmetrical photo of a bald eagle flying above a pond with its reflection underneath. The image was recognized worldwide after he shared it on his social media.

He took the photo at the Canadian Raptor Conservancy. Biro’s hobby is photography and he took hundreds of photos of the eagle while at a trip at the conservancy. For him, the best part of the photo that got so much attention is the eagles’ eyes which he describes as ‘starring daggers’.

One of the Most Amazing Eagle Photos ever

Biro explained that the bird had squared up perfectly with both of its wings touching the water. This particular photo was also more special than the remaining ones, but he didn’t think it would resonate with the public that much.

He shared the photo on Facebook and before he knew, the photo was being presented on news worldwide.

Biro recalls how the resident eagle at the conservancy called Bruce was a bit bothered by him and that he actually tried to ‘brush’ him away from where he was. He notes that he could feel the breeze from the bird’s wings as he was flying over him.

The photographer, in addition to the photo, also shared a slow-motion video of the eagle flying by him. Biro loves taking bird photos due to their similarities with us, including how they interact and how they hunt.

There’s also their playfulness, similarly to children. For him, there’s a lot of humanity in birds, and animals in general.
