The First Customer of Disneyland Has Been Using His Lifetime Pass for 64 Years Now

If you’re a big fan of Disney and haven’t been to the magical kingdom of Disneyland, we know that this is probably one of your biggest wishes, right?

And, it’s definitely a no brainer- all of the characters you can meet there and rides you can take are amazing to see and experience.

And, you’re not the only one who may be really into Disneyland- this man loves Disneyland so much that he’s been coming every year as the park opened in 1955.

And, to make things even more interesting, he’s been entering with the same lifetime pass he got 64 years ago.

Visiting Disneyland for 64 Years

Back in 1955, this man, Sctosman Dave MacPherson, was a student at the Long Beach State College. When Disneyland first opened its doors the same year in July, the 22-year-old student was one among the first people who bought a ticket.

He stood in the line since 2 am and was the first commoner to go into Disneyland after the family members of Disney and celebrities went in on Day 1.

One day before the grand opening, Dave was watching the celebrations on TV and was amazed by the celebrities having good time at the park. So, he decided he’ll be the first commoner to visit the park.

He Succeeds in Buying a Ticket & Receives a Lifetime Pass

Believe it or not, he got on his bike and rode for 10 miles to get into the line for tickets. The line was so big that he saw somewhere around 6000 people behind him!

Although he doesn’t know what happened with his admission ticket, he did keep a copy of the complimentary card which came with it.

From then on, he’s been visiting the park every year.

Though he didn’t use the complimentary card, he was awarded with a lifetime pass because he was one of the first customers who bought a ticket. And, he definitely didn’t let the pass go to waste!

He’s regularly visiting the park with his friends and wife Wanda to this day…

He is without doubt one of the die-hard fans of Disney.
