Delivery Guy Gets Overexcited after He Sees the Snacks a Homeowner Left for Him

Without doubt, even a small act of kindness can go a long way. And, it’s even more satisfying when we see the effect of some good thing we do.

For Kathy Ouma, making others feel a bit better in this problematic world is a must. She made a tradition of living treats outside her home in the season of Christmas.

She’s been doing the same for the last 4 or 5 years and because of what happened recently, we’re sure she won’t stop any time soon.

Spreading the Christmas Joy & Spirit

Kathy Ouma puts a basket full of snacks on her front door and they’re intended for delivery drivers who’re working very hard during the holiday season.

She also places a sign next to the basket saying: please take some goodies to enjoy on your route. Thanks for making holiday shopping easy.

However, she wasn’t aware that this small act of kindness would be of that much aid to someone. And, when this Amazon delivery guy saw the package and the note, he was overjoyed.

Karim Reed was doing deliveries when he found himself in front of Kathy’s home in Middletown, Delaware.

He saw the basket full of crackers, bottled water, cookies, and sodas.

Reed had actually forgotten to take lunch with him that day and had a quite low energy. So, when he saw Kathy’s refreshments, he felt great. Karim was so happy that he actually danced going back to his vehicle.

This amazing situation was caught on Kathy’s door camera and after the video was released, it immediately went viral.

Kathy said if she knew about his missed lunch, she would’ve left him lunch too!

Happy to Help Others

Kathy was amazed that her small act of kindness has encouraged other people to do the same- she received a lot of messages from other homeowners from Australia and England following her example.
