Amazing Rainbow Clouds- Rare Natural Phenomenon

These rainbow clouds are known as iridescent clouds and they form when the sunlight scatters water droplets in the atmosphere.

According to Svetlana who witnessed and photographed this phenomenon, she did it early in the morning. Rainbow clouds are a rare optical occurrence that appear when thin clouds are close to the sun and change to spectral colors.

The clouds are so thin that they appear as lace, claims Svetlana. She also adds that the wind at this height was very strong and the clouds changed every second.

The Altai Mountains, located in the south of Siberia, include some of the most wonderful sceneries in Russia- this is why it attracts so many travelers that want to escape from the urban environments and enjoy nature, mountains, and clean air.

The photos definitely look breathtaking and we suppose things were even more majestic in person. We’re sure Svetlana will remember this moment forever!
