Rescued Kangaroo Can’t Stop Hugging The Volunteers Who Saved Her Life

Same as us humans, animals have feelings, for sure. They’re also well known for being extremely affectionate towards the people taking care for them or people who’ve saved their lives.

The love that animals have for us is perfectly shown by Abigail’s – an affectionate rescue kangaroo who’s constantly hugging the people who saved her after her mother died.

She was taken in by the Kangaroo Sanctuary Alice Springs in Australia.

The workers there welcomed her with arms wide open and have been giving her all the love she deserves for the last decade.

The cutest kangaroo ever responded in the same manner and is regularly hugging the sanctuary staff. Hugging has become her daily routine!

Rescued Kangaroo Hugs Her Rescuers Every Day

10 years later, Abigail who’s now an adult kangaroo, is still hugging the people who rescued her when she was small. Her lovely and friendly nature has earned her the title ‘queen’ in the sanctuary.

Every day, the workers begin their day with a warm and loving hug from their favorite kangaroo Abigail.

Abi came into the sanctuary when she was 5-months-old and was busted up pretty bad with cuts and scrapes.

But, today, thanks to the good care from the workers, she’s grown into a healthy kangaroo that is always full of love. She has an unusual light color and she’s very beautiful, claims Alice Springs who works in the sanctuary.

The Sanctuary Helps Animals in Need

The founder of the non-profit animal sanctuary, Chris Brolga, knew she had to launch this sanctuary as the nearest wildlife rescue center and hospital are 1500 km away.

The sanctuary today spreads on 188 acres and offers visitor tours.

Kangaroos are animals known to have an excellent memory and there have been a lot of stories showing their love and devotion to the people taking care for them- they consider them their family.

The rest of the day (when she’s not hugging her caretakers), Abigail is lounging in the sun.

The sanctuary’s mission is to educate and motivate people to rescue and take good care for wildlife. They claim that ‘animals come first’.
