Female Scottish Football Player Put Back Her Dislocated Knee into Mid Game & Continued Playing

Jane O’Toole is a Scottish football player and captain of the St. Mirren club.

During a recent game, she dislocated her knee and rather than leaving the field or asking for medical help, she hammered it back into place using her fist and continued playing!

The accident happened in the 50th minute of their game against the Inverness in the Scottish Cup. Despite her team losing with 6-0 at the time, O’Toole didn’t want to give up and continued playing until the end.

Even though they lost with 7-0, O’Toole’s move of setting up her own knee and getting back into the game proves that she’s tougher than many other soccer players.

Punch in the Gut for Those Who Think Women Are Weak

The video of the captain putting her knee back into place while suffering in immense pain so that she can continue playing is a definite proof of her strength.

She acted fast and knew she couldn’t give up – she played full strength for 90 minutes.

People on the internet are praising O’Toole and they’re amazed by the courage and strength she showed.

They used this moment to call out on other football players who often fake injuries and those who claim that women can’t play football.

No one would have blamed O’Toole is she exited the game after the knee injury. Clearly, as it can be seen from the videos, she’s in extreme pain; however, she wasn’t planning on letting down her team.

Players who’re fixing their dislocated knees isn’t new occurrence- last summer, an English rugby player Joe Westerman did the same after a hard tackle.

According to his coach, this player’s knee frequently dislocates. Let’s hope this isn’t the case with O’Toole too.
