A group of hikers managed to keep their cool and even got photos with a curious black bear that approached them while they were hiking on a trail in Mexico.
The unusual meeting happened at one of the most popular hiking trails at the Ecological Park in San Pedro Garza Garcia, says a person who shared the video online.
The video shows one of the women standing still as the bear perched on its hind legs and approached the woman and sniffed her.
The two other females managed to remain calm too as they watched the bear checking out their friend.

The bear shortly dropped on the ground and lurched back again and pressed itself against the woman. The by-standers are seen trying to distract the bear, but it’s busy with sniffing her head!
In all that shock, the woman takes out her cell phone for the selfie of a lifetime!
As if the bear was aware of the photographing, it stood long enough for the woman to take the shot before it dropped down on all fours.
It then wandered away while the woman and her friends speeded out of the area. This moment which was shared on social media amassed more than 2 million views since Saturday.
It even reached celebrities-the former NBA player Rex Chapman shared the video and wrote ‘oh my goodness. She’s a rock. I want this girl in my foxhole…’
Yashar Ali, a journalist, shared a similar sentiment and praised the friends for being so good at handing this unusual and scary situation.
Black bears aren’t an uncommon sight in this ecological park-only last December two black bears scared a visitor while sniffing near the garbage cans for food.
