Sometimes, they can even make a great healthy and plant-based lunch. They’re soft and buttery and the dream of every vegan out there.

They taste like the real deal without all of the butter and dairy.

If you regularly consumed the Red Lobster biscuits, but now you’ve gone vegan, you’ll love this easy-to-make homemade plant-based version.

Check out the recipe below.

Vegan Cheddar Bay Biscuits Recipe

You’ll need:

2 ½ cups of Bisquick

4 tbsp of vegan butter

½ cup of vegan cheddar shreds

½ cup of vegan mozzarella shreds

¾ cup of dairy-free milk

¼ tsp of garlic powder

For top brushing:

2 tbsp of vegan butter, melted

½ tsp of garlic powder

A tbsp of parsley, minced

Prep:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F. With a pastry cutter, mix the flour and butter. Don’t mix too much-it should be crumbly.

Add the milk, cheddar, and mozzarella and form dough with the hands. Don’t mix too much. Divide it into 9 equal round portions and set them on a greased pan.

Bake them for 15 to 17 minutes or until they become golden brown.

Take them out of the oven and combine the melted butter, garlic, and parsley and brush the biscuits on top with it prior to serving.

Enjoy!
