- Whiten white laundry

If you want to brighten grey clothes, soak them overnight in a mixture of water and a cup of vinegar. This should be done only with fabrics that are 100 percent cotton.
- Remove the mildew odors

To solve this, fill your washer with hot water, add 2 cups of white vinegar, and run a full washing cycle. Then, run a second one using detergent.
