Boy Genius Age 12 Set to Study Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech

Caleb Anderson is a 12-year-old boy living in the US who will become the youngest student of aerospace at the Georgia Tech University.

Usually, advanced subjects such as aerospace engineering are associated with the age group between 18 and 25; however, this 12-year-old boy is an exception.

He is expected to gain admission this fall after meeting with the president of the school earlier.

The tween prodigy from Marietta in Georgia left the administrators in awe of his advanced knowledge and capacity to assess and learn complex information.

“Anything that Caleb Did Was Not Normal for Us” Said His Parents

Caleb’s mother, Claire, said that anything their son has done hasn’t been normal for them. He began to mimic her words when he was just 4 weeks old!

And, by the age of 2, he was able to read the whole constitution whereas at the age of 3, he became a full member of MENSA.

Caleb is fluent in English, but in other languages too, including French, Spanish, and Mandarin. However, the modest boy doesn’t consider himself a genius-he says that he’s not really smart, but just able to grasp info fast and effectively.

He has the memory of going to a first grade class and everyone being taller than him as he was just 2 years old-he could barely walk!

Big Dreams & Hopes, but It Was Not Easy to Be the Smartest in the Room

Caleb, who’s hopeful to get an internship with Tesla’s founder Elon Musk, advanced to middle school fast, but his teen classmates weren’t very welcoming.

Caleb recalls how they looked down on him and treated him like something was wrong with him.

He finished high school by the age of 11 and for the past year, he’s been studying aerospace engineering at the Chattahoochee Tech College.

The wish of his parents is more of a holistic college experience at Georgia Tech and to help him learn other important lessons for life outside of classrooms.

They want to ensure that when he becomes an adult, he can become a wonderful husband, an amazing friend, and a great father.

His mother has an MD in education while his father Kobi is an IT salesman.

Most parents with 12 year olds spend time helping their children do homework; however, Kaleb’s parents can no longer keep up with the complex tasks he can do.

However, they’re here to teach him about kindness, goodness, and compassion.
