Family Comes Home to See their Dog Covered in Blood; Here Is what actually Happened

Since his puppy days, Pogo has had immense energy. He is always keeping his family on their toes and surprises them with his next shenanigan.

One night, when Gemma McAdam and her girlfriend came home, they noticed that there was something wrong with Pogo.

They were shocked initially because he was covered in some red substance. At first, they were scared, thinking it was blood and that he injured himself.

Parents Shocked, Start Looking for Potential

McAdam said how she started running around their kitchen, trying to find something that Pogo may have injured himself with while her girlfriend was trying to check out the wounds on Pogo.

However, Pogo was quite happy and they didn’t notice at first that he was wagging his tail. Since he has injured himself previously, they know he’s not the best at hiding pain.

When they realized there wasn’t anything wrong with Pogo, they started to wonder where the red color could come from.

After they checked out all the rooms, they found a chewed-up container of a red hair dye hidden in the bed of the dog.

They called a vet right away because they were worried. When they ensured he’s going to be okay, they relaxed and started laughing about the whole situation.

Indeed, Pogo is always on the lookout for an adventure-at any price. Pogo was so happy that he was running in circles and with no guilt on his face, not a bit!

It’s Time for a Bath, Pogo

After they laughed it out, it was time to bathe Pogo and remove the dye.

Although they were thorough and did their best, it didn’t really work. Although the dye faded a bit, he still has red areas.

They asked for help and advice on social media and had to try something and help remove the dye. Some people suggested using seawater.

Still, nothing worked. Three months after this incident, the sweet doggo is still red in parts of his fur.

This has brought some funny looks on the walks and some odd ones too-people think he’s injured. Although the dye will eventually fade away, Pogo’s hoomans won’t ever forget this moment and are certainly anxious about the next adventurous move that Pogo will make!
