Puppy that Was Tied Up outside a Building Has the most Amazing Transformation

In October last year, the dad of one Courtney Bowles called her with one unusual request. He had spotted a puppy that was tied to a wooden post outside of an apartment building next door.

He needed help to take the dog out of there. Bowles, who’s experienced in rescuing dogs, came to the location fast and was sad by what she encountered.

Bowles Realizes the Dog Has Been Neglected

When she arrived to the location, she couldn’t believe it.

The dog was severely undernourished and covered in trash and her excrement. Since the dog was so hungry, she had to go through the trash bag to find food.

The former owners apparently abandoned the sweet dog and moved out. They tied the puppy to a post and it had a collar around the neck and no food or water around.

Bowles feared how the puppy that was scared would react well to human contact; however, once she approached it with kindness, the dog transformed.

Once she gave it a treat and began petting it gently, the dog became the sweetest. Bowles says it’s like the dog knew she was there to help it. She soon unhooked the dog from the leash and took it inside her car.

The puppy could be seen wagging its tail. Bowles and her father took the puppy home and bathed it. The water that turned brown and the poor thirst puppy tried to drink from it.

Bowles believes it’s because she never experienced this amount of water in her life.

So, ever since this moment, whenever she’s scared during storms or other loud noises, she runs and goes inside the bathtub.

Bowles believes it’s because this is the first place the pupper felt safe.

Bonnie Blue’s Stunning Transformation

Bowles named the sweet girl Bonnie Blue and with each passing day, she became more and more confident. Soon, she warmed up to the other dog of Bowles, Millie.

During the first day, Bonnie Blue was very weak and was unable to run or jump around. This is when their beagle would slow down too. He gave the sweet girl a chance to catch up.

Watching them bond was the most amazing thing, explains Bowles.

Today, the two puppers act like they’ve been friends since a long time ago; they love to play and sleep together.

Millie also taught Bonnie Blue how to grow in confidence and how to enjoy the life of puppies. Bowles says she’s now a different dog-she’s become energetic and is constantly running and playing.

But, she’s also a snuggle bug; she loves people and tends to chew everything she finds around the house.

Bonnie Blue is now their beloved family member and they give her all the love and care in the world.

The strong and brave girl is making sure her dog mom knows how much she’s grateful for rescuing her and shows us it’s never too late for a second chance in life.

Bowles says Bonnie Blue taught her the real meaning of forgiving and growing.
