Wedding crashers are rarely welcomed-but; this wasn’t the case with this unexpected guest who showed up at the wedding ceremony of Marilia Pieroni and Matheus Gomes Martins.
He was actually very well accepted. Marilia married Matheus on the 30th of September last year in Laranjal Paulista in Brazil.
Because it rained, the couple had to move the ceremony in a tent. With the guests sitting down, one stray dog with muddy paws also wandered inside the area.
They escorted him out; however, he came back.
Lovely Guest Becomes Part of the Newly-Weds’ Life
With the ceremony already starting, everyone was surprised by the dog that entered when the bridal chorus started playing. The pup had to be moved out for a second time and the ceremony continued.
However, while exchanging their vows, the dog came in once more and this time, it sat down on the bride’s wedding veil and actually looked like he was prepping for a nap.
This moment was caught on camera.
Marilia said how she was really surprised and thought that this dog is beyond cute. So, after the wedding, the newlyweds decided to adopt the dog and make him official family member.
The Newlyweds Encourage Others to Adopt as well
They found him on October 10th after they got a call from a woman who knew where the dog was located. The dog, which the couple named Snoop, has finally found a forever loving home.
The bride said how he’s been adapting pretty well to his new routine. He’s a playful, caring, and needy pup and he makes them so happy.
The couple is hopeful their story of adoption will be an inspiration to others to adopt animals in need of a home. Unfortunately, in Brazil, the number of stray dogs in need of a home is high. So, they want to encourage people to adopt, not shop.
