Liver Detox: just 1 Glass per Day to Support Your Liver Cleanse Naturally

Our liver is working 24/7 and it has numerous roles-from filtering toxins from the blood to balancing macronutrients and micronutrients and encouraging hormone regulation.

And, most of the time, we don’t even know it’s working at all. To protect this important organ and lower your risk of liver illness, opt for an occasional liver cleanse.

Liver detoxes are helpful ways to keep a healthy and optimally functioning liver!

Do liver Detoxes Really Work?

Nowadays, liver cleanses are everywhere. Whether diets, supplements, juices, teas, or a combo of several products, the end goal is the same. It’s to remove the toxins from the body and encourage weight loss.

Liver cleanses are based on the idea that toxins keep on building up in our systems; however, this isn’t entirely true. Our liver doesn’t allow the storage of bad stuff. When a toxin enters your body, your liver will make it into something less toxic, and eventually, you’ll remove it.

So, if your liver is already doing this on its own, you can’t do a lot to help it. If it hadn’t been doing it by now, your body wouldn’t be in good shape.

But, you can encourage a healthy liver by following a healthy diet, preferably one that will include this stunning liver detox drink!

Check out the recipe below.

125 grams of red cabbage

A lemon

When to Drink the Liver Detox Drink?

Opt for two glasses per day for optimal results. Preferably, drink one in the morning and the other some two hours before bed.

The Benefits of the Ingredients

Celery is rich in antioxidants and numerous vitamins, including A, B6, C, and K. These nutrients help detox the liver by minimizing fatty buildup associated with high levels of cholesterol and obesity.

Ginger has the power to lower oxidative stress, minimize insulin resistance, and impede inflammation.

Cabbage is a wonderful source of enzymes that remove toxins from the body and encourage optimal liver health. According to a new study, its I3C compound can help avert non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Lemon’s high levels of antioxidants and vitamin C in lemon make it a pivotal part of any type of diet whose goal is optimal liver health.

Pears are rich in pectin and other nutrients that boost the cleansing process in the liver. Moreover, studies have found pectin to be beneficial for reducing bad cholesterol levels and lowering bile acid metabolism.

Peppermint is known to stimulate the bile flow by relaxing your liver’s bile ducts. Bile is a fluid that the liver releases and it’s pivotal for good digestion. Peppermint will soothe your belly and help you have clearer skin too.
