Queen Elizabeth II was amazed by a one-year-old girl’s cute Halloween custom so she personally complimented her by sending a letter to the family in Ohio.
Jalayne Sutherland dressed up for Halloween as The Queen. She wore a blue overcoat, a wig, a hat, and wore the signature pearls of The Queen. Believe it or not, she also had two corgis by her side, the same as the longest-reigning monarch.
The girl’s mom, Katelyn, sent a letter and a couple of photos from the adorable dress-up to Buckingham Palace and was speechless when she actually got a reply.
She received a letter with the insignia of Windsor Castle from the Queen’s lady-in-waiting, the Hon. Mary Morrison.

The letter said:
“The Queen wishes me to write and thank you for your letter, and for the photograph you thoughtfully enclosed. Her Majesty thought it kind of you to write to her and The Queen was pleased to see the photograph of your daughter, Jalayne, in her splendid outfit. Her Majesty hopes you all have a very Merry Christmas, and I am enclosing a little information about the Royal Pets, which Jalayne might like to have.”
The Christmas celebration of The Queen was canceled due to Covid-19 and the omicron variant. The 95-year-old Queen scrapped her Christmas celebrations and also canceled the pre-Christmas lunch with her family because of concerns from Covid-19.
However, she did host her annual televised Christmas Day message that focused on the remembrance of the life of her late husband, Prince Philip, who died at the age of 99. They were married for impressive 73 years.
