Trisha Yearwood Excited to Raise Money for Rescue Pets through the Betty White Challenge

Trisha Yearwood will host a virtual event on what would’ve been Betty White’s 100th birthday to raise money for shelter pets. She plans to match up to $10K in donations.

Yearwood is dedicated to ensuring the iconic actress’s legacy continues. She will take part in the Betty White Challenge.

This online movement began shortly after White passed away on the 31st of December in 2021.

The fans, for this challenge, are motivated to celebrate White’s continued devotion to helping animals by making a donation to an animal rescue or charity on the 17th of January, which would’ve been the legend’s 100th birthday.

She Is Somewhere Smiling from all the Love People Are Showing her

Yearwood notes that everyone loves White.

She’s been reading about the donations to animal shelters and charities after the actress passed away. She believes White is somewhere, smiling so big because of the love that the whole world has shown her.

She’s happy to participate in the challenge and shine a light on the amazing work that shelters, volunteers, and rescues are doing.

For this challenge, she’ll host a virtual event today with talkshoplive on their site’s page to raise donations for rescue pets. She will match up to $10K in donations and the same will also be done by talkshoplive.

Yearwood announced the news on her Facebook page and encouraged all of her fans to join today at 1 pm EST.

Same as White, Yearwood has been helping animals her whole life. Together with her husband, Gath Brooks, they have two rescue dogs and donate to other shelter animals through the Dottie’s Yard Fund.

This is a charity that Yearwood launched last year to honor their late dog, Dottie.

Yearwood emphasized that animals need our help and that love is the common denominator.

This is something White showed us how to do it and now we have to keep doing it and ensure her legacy lives. We need to love all creatures, great and small, added Yearwood.
