Heartwarming: 6-Year-Old Boy Gets Hit by a Car to Save His Little Sister

Kayden Reid from Mobile, Alabama has recently gotten back from the hospital after he was hit by a car because he was saving his sister from danger.

The local firefighters helped welcome the six-year-old boy home. The two siblings are now safe, but their lives were almost stolen away by a car during a family function.

The boy’s heroic actions have been praised by the community and the internet, as well as by the local firefighters. The boy saved his sister Kaycee from getting hit by a car, but unfortunately got hit by the car himself and had to spend some time at the hospital.

Heroic Act: Six-Year-Old Boy Risks His Own Life to Save His Sister

The boy has recovered well and several days ago he got a hero’s welcome organized by the local fire department when he got back home. Their mom, Kayla Giles, said that by the time everybody else saw that Kaycee was on the street, Kayden was there and ran towards her to save her.

However, while trying to get his sister out of there, he got hit by the car. Their mom is happy and grateful that her both kids are home and doing well.

The family called the public information officer after they had responded to the scene and after the boy was transported to the hospital and after the boy’s remarkable act of bravery.

The boy has a heart of a hero. It’s the job of the first responders to save their community members from danger and injuries as best as they professionally can. But, this time, the boy was hailed a hero.

As a six-year-old, he recognized what was happening and reacted timely; he’s a true beacon for the future.

The Best Hero Welcome for the Brave Brother

When the boy got back from the hospital, the local firefighters gave him a tour of one of their firetrucks and also a front-row view in the driver’s seat.

The young boy wanted to send a message to others and it said: “Thank you, everyone, for watching me.”
