Twin Sisters Welcomed First Babies with Twin Husbands at the Same Time

Every day is a two’s day for this family in Virginia that includes two identical twin sisters and their husbands who are also identical twins. And, of course, their two toddlers.

The sisters Briana and Brittany said their ‘Yes I Do’ to Jeremy and Josh Salyers in a joint ceremony in 2018 in Ohio.

They met for the first time in 2017. Two years after they met, the sisters announced that they were both pregnant.

A Happy Family of Six

Since their wedding day, the couples have lived together while running their own business, a wedding venue location.

Brittany who’s 35 says that this is something all of the four members wanted when they got engaged. It’s something very nice because their husbands understand the bond of twins like they have it.

The couples have a lot of fun time together.

The future may also involve more kids in the family.

They’re currently debating if they should try once more and go through with another pregnancy or not. Their babies are still very young so they’re waiting a bit more to see what their final decision will be.

Briana and Jeremy are parents of Jax who celebrated his first birthday this January whereas Brittany and Josh have Jet who will be one in April. The boys were born to identical twin parents less than nine months apart.

Legally Cousins, but DNA Says They’re Brothers?!

The boys are legally cousins, but they’re genetically closer to siblings.

One article from 2018 published in the New Zealand Herald stated that because the Salyers twins are identical, a case could be made for their kids to be considered brothers.

Each kid will share as many genes with their aunt as they do with their mom, according to Dr. Alexandra Burt from the Michigan State University Twin Registry.

The kids are siblings when their DNA is looked at, Burt explained.
