This mother from Texas learned the most important lesson-why she should never leave her phone unlocked and near her kid!
Her 2-year-old son accidentally used her unlocked phone to order, believe it or not, 31 cheeseburgers from McDonald’s through DoorDash.
It all happened so fast, that the mother couldn’t believe it. Here’s how this happened!
2-Year-Old Uses His Mom’s Phone & Orders 31 McDonald’s Cheeseburgers
On a Monday, the mother, Kelsey Golden, who works for a school media marketing, was working on the annual yearbook on the home laptop from home, with her son nearby.
She was in the process of transferring photos from her phone to her laptop when she noticed that her 2-year-old son Barrett began playing with the phone.
She says how her son loves using the camera and that he enjoys looking at his reflection. He’s not into games or other things.
However, this time was different. He wasn’t just staring at his reflection but began pressing the screen and swang it around like his arm was a roller coaster.
Soon after, his mom got a notification that the DoorDash order was taking longer than usual; this was unusual because though she sometimes orders from DoorDash, this morning, she didn’t.
DoorDash Delivery Guy Comes at the Door with the Unusual Order
Golden was in shock when she heard someone at the door. When she opened it, it was a delivery driver, handing her an order of 31 cheeseburgers!
The delivery driver asked her “did you have 31 burgers?” to which Golden replied “oh, wow, no I didn’t order these, but I did. My son did.”
She had to pay $58.59 for the accidental order made by her son. And, it seems that her son is quite the generous tipper as he gave the DoorDash driver another $16.50. Due to the other fees, Golden had to pay a total of $91.70 for the whole order.
But, Barett ate only half of one of the burgers and his mom divided the rest of the food among their neighbors.
