For general wellness, there is no need to choose only one. Using both as foods can add flavor and plant compounds to an overall anti-inflammatory eating pattern. The larger benefits are still likely to come from the entire lifestyle: adequate sleep, regular movement, not smoking, maintaining a balanced diet, and properly treating any underlying condition.
