Located on the shores of the Ranuanjarvi Lake, the Arctic Fox igloos will place you in first row for the amazing northern light show in Finland.
The igloos are in fact glass domes and they feature a kitchenette and a double bed. They’re facing the lakeshore and each of the igloos allows you to see the northern lights.

When to See the Northern Lights?
Spotting the Aurora Borealis is a main attraction in Kakslauttanen from August until late April. In the summer, the resort offers activities like panning for gold or horseback riding.
This hotel had celebrity guests too like the swimsuit models of Sports Illustrated. The igloo roofs were first built back in 1999 and are made of thermal glass. This allows warm rooms without messing up the view.
