Bear and wolf are seen sharing an amazing bond and talented photographer from Finland catches their connection on camera.
The photographer remembers seeing the bear and wolf sharing meals several nights in a row and also hunting together.
Lassi Rautiainen, the photographer, took the breathtaking photos of the duo- a male brown bear and female grey wolf back in 2013. But, they’re so beautiful that they are worth mentioning regularly.
The duo was heading everywhere together and seemed happier than ever-whether they were hunting or sharing their catch or just playing.
Unusual, yet Beautiful Friendship
Rautiainen, now 62-year-old, recalls that this was the first time, at least in Europe, that such a friendship between these two animals was seen. It’s really unusual for a bear and wolf to get along so well.
However, no one can know how and why the bear and wolf ‘partnered up’. Maybe, the photographer speculates, they were both alone and young and unsure how to survive on their own so they decided to do it together.
Anyhow, one thing’s for sure- seeing such a rare event in the wild is definitely stunning. And, as we can conclude from the captured images, they really appear happy when together.
