Did You Know: There’s an Amusement Park in the US that Allows Children to Play with Heavy Machinery

Named the Diggerland USA, this 14-acre theme park has one of the most unique themes we’ve ever seen-it’s heavy machinery.

This amusement park allows children to control and dig with these machines, believe it or not.

Their website explains that their guests are able to drive full-size backhoes, dig holes with excavators, and operate any type of construction machine they can imagine.

But, this isn’t the only attraction that this park offers- it also has rope courses, an arcade, a live performance for the machinery, and a rock wall.

Their gift shop is also amazing-they have everything from bright plastic trucks and hard hats to cute rain boots.

And, parents aren’t left out- in case you’ve wondered what it’s like to operate a big machine, you can head to the adult section and see for yourself!

The park is located in West Berlin, New Jersey.

But, Wait; Is This Park Safe for My Child?

Although you may find the idea of your child operating a big machinery crazy at first, the theme park claims that the machines are safe for children.

They explain that each of these machines has undergone advanced modifications to ensure public safety and allow children as small as 36 inches to operate with them with a little or no need for instruction.

Currently, you can purchase an annual membership for the amusement park for $49.95 while the price for a one-day-ticket ranges between $29.95 to $38.95.

A very popular ride is the Spin Dizzy-a JCB JS220 which weighs 3 tons and is very exciting-excellent for adrenaline seekers.

The park even has a Sky Shuttle which takes guests 50 feet into the air as well as Soaring Eagle Zipline that you can see in action below:
