Margarita Trucks Could Be Rolling into Your Neighborhood & We Definitely Need Them

With children spending their summer mostly waiting for the ice cream truck to roll down their streets, the citizens in San Antonio who’re 21 or older will have a special truck- it offers adult beverages.

Thanks to the La Gloria, one of the multiple restaurants of Chef Johnny Hernandez, this new concept known as the margarita truck has been launched.

These bright-pink coloured trucks will bring drinks and food to their customers. They served areas like the Stone Oak, Dominion, and Alamo Heights as of June this year.

What Kind of Amazing Drinks Can You Order?

The name itself is clearly indicating that it will serve house margarita frozen on the rocks, as well as the blue margarita, the mango margarita, and the prickly pear margarita.

These choices will be served in 16-ounce cups and with a 50 ml add-on of El Jimador tequila starts at $10.

The drink packs will include 12-ounce cocktails with 375 ml bottles of booze at the price of $38.

Some foods from the Fruteria, which is another Hernandez restaurant, will also be available, alongside snacks like salsa, queso, chips, and corn.

The customers must buy food with the alcohol and it’s premade prior to being delivered.

Great for Those Still Trying to Socially-Distance

According to Hernandez, these new trucks are a useful way to serve their customers who’re trying to avoid restaurants due to the pandemic.

Hernandez’s restaurants have opened up for dine-ins as of 1st of May.

Their popular margarita trucks are a fun and creative way to adapt to the constantly changing business landscape.

Safety is people’s first priority today and a lot of customers aren’t willing to dine out. But, this doesn’t mean they should keep on craving their famous margaritas.

The deliveries are available from 3 to 8 pm, as long as the supplies last from Monday to Wednesday. From Thursday to Saturday, their working hours are from noon to 8 pm.

In Sunday, the work hours are from noon to 6 pm.

The customers who want to place an order must be at least $40 and a $5 delivery charge. The orders and payments are available online on the La Gloria website.
