Do you know Azuki? He’s the insta-famous, pygmy hedgehog from Japan. Azuki is a happy and lucky kind of guy. He enjoys apples, hot baths, and massages.
Until recently, he spent a cozy life indoors with his human and liked it a lot. But, all of those soft blanket naps, the daily photoshoots, and the precious time spent with his sister Uni (@uni_desu), weren’t the same any longer.
His collection of tiny hats or the custom-built nest houses couldn’t satisfy Azuki. He longed for more and it was obvious. This is when they decided it’s time for an adventure-Azuki packed his bags and went camping.
The photos show him happy and thriving!
Azuki the Hedgehog Goes Camping & Enjoys Kayaking & Barbecuing
Azuki had everything he needed- his own tent, table, and chair set, but also a barbecue, and even a kayak. He had everything to face the great outdoors.
The good news is that his human brought a camera and made sure Azuki’s Insta followers saw their favorite hedgehog enjoy on his adventures.
In one of the shots, the post was captioned “lunch in nature feels better than usual.” In another, he was reclined in his camp chair and marveled at the sky, claim “the stars were beautiful at night.”
He also made himself a yummy picnic using his tiny barbecue.
