Teen Gives Back a Lost Purse to the Owner & She Rewards Him with $5,000

One woman, Eliana Martin, was at a supermarket when she left her purse in the cart at the parking lot.

She realized this after leaving the store. She began to cancel her credit cards in a frenzy.

Shortly after, a 17-year-old Martin Rodriguez found the purse in the cart. He checked it inside for an ID to find info about the owner.

Rodriguez saw the address and drove there. Martin wasn’t home so Rodriguez left the purse to her relative.

Teen Gets an Amazing Reward for His Honesty & Kindness

When she came home, Martin and her relative saw the drop off of the purse at their doorbell camera footage. They were amazed by his kindness and knew they had to find him and express their gratitude.

They also opened a GoFundMe campaign for the amazing young boy so that they can reward him properly. Believe it or not, she raised almost $5,000, all for the teen.

She explains that the donators also believed that what he did deserves praise. For these people, his kind act was much more than only giving back to a person.

Marquez explains that he was raised by wonderful parents and the world needs to know it. Moreover, this boy, and his act of kindness instilled her with hope for the next generation.

She also realized how important it’s to never judge someone by their looks.

More People Are Realizing the Importance of Not Stealing Others’ Belongings

Believe it or not, a study from 2019 done in Europe concluded that when people find a lost wallet with money, the likelihood of them returning it is higher.

According to the research team, this may have to do with people’s consciousness and realizing that it’s never right to steal.

The head of the study, Alain Cohn, explained that the more money a wallet contained, the more did the finders feel like they would be stealing it if they don’t give it back to the rightful owner.
