Doctors Are in Shock: Coconut Oil Destroys 93% of Colon Cancer Cells

Unfortunately, a lot of people these days in the US, but throughout the rest of world are being diagnosed with colon cancer. According to some studies, a lot of natural cures can help with this type of cancer and even prevent it from spreading further; however, the medical community claims that there is a lack of research and strong evidence so that these remedies can be incorporated into conventional cancer treatments like chemo and radiation.

Coconut Oil: The Potential Solution for Colon Cancer?

According to a group of researchers from the University of Adelaide in Australia, coconut oil contains a lauric corrosive compound. It was discovered to kill more than 93 percent of colon cancer cells within several days.

The clinical trials were made in vivo and in vitro and both showed the same results. They believe that the lauric corrosive is capable of destroying cancerous cells while decreasing oxidative stress and glutathione levels. This substance is also present in breast milk and it possesses powerful antibacterial characteristics.

The Research on Coconut Oil Continues

In a study done by the American Nutrition Association, it was concluded that the fats from coconut oil can be effective in the treatment of conditions such as osteoporosis, cancer, diabetes, Crohn’s, herpes, hepatitis C, and more.

The researchers also discovered that the oil reduced the unpleasant side effects of chemo and bettered the quality of life in the cancer patients.

Coconut Oil Was Not Always so Popular

Back in the 60s, food manufacturers needed to sell their margarine and hydrogenated oils. Hence, they discredited the products that people have been using, including lard, coconut oil, and olive oil.

Once the marketing campaign for these new products began, coconut oil was advertised as food that can clog the arteries and elevate the bad cholesterol. It was considered high on saturated fat and a contributor to higher risk of heart attacks.

Four decades later, in a society full of heart illness, diabetes, obesity, and cancer, scientists now know that it is not the fats from coconut oil and other natural products that are bad for us. It is the margarine and hydrogenated oils filled with trans-fats that are the problem.

Therefore, today, we are advised to stay away from foods high in refined sugar and bad fats, abundant in simple carbs, and over-processed foods with preservatives, additives, and dyes.
